Diary: Wednesday 15 July
At camp, the Scouts are quite good at asking awkward questions just when you are at your most busy or most tired.

I am a huge fan of Betty’s Café and Tea Room in Yorkshire.

The Scouts have two gas rings over which they have to cook their breakfasts and dinners.
Diary: Sunday 12 July
It is a cold day and there was rain overnight, with more rain forecast.

The ingredients and method of cooking are very simple, perfect for the first breakfast at camp.

Gochugaru Girl is heading to the Isle of Wight with her Scout Group.
The trip is off to a good start with fair weather on the ferry crossing to the island.
Gochugaru Girl and Junior 2 made some cakes last night…
…in preparation for the rain we are forecast to have this afternoon.
Gochugaru Girl can’t quite believe the weather today.
The children say that London today is like being in Kuala Lumpur.
