Avocado Toast

Gochugaru Girl had to have a five-minute lunch today.

Details of how busy one can be will definitely bore other people to tears, so here is a super simple recipe for lunch instead.

For one Serving:

1 slice wholegrain bread

½ a ripe avocado

1 teaspoon lemon olive oil

A bit of gochugaru

Some toasted sesame seeds

How to Make:

Toast the bread.

Chop the avocado into large chunks and place on the toast.

Drizzle over the lemon olive oil.

Sprinkle over as much as you like of the gochugaru and sesame seeds.

Note:

I like Vogel’s  original mixed grain bread, which I have been eating for just over 30 years. They have tried to change their recipe/ formula once or twice which resulted in a sort of damp bread which fell apart as soon as it was handled. It is now back on form, I am happy to say.

The lemon olive oil is from Carluccio’s. Everything from them is reliable, sensibly priced and would make very good gifts when visiting friends and family.

The avocado toast is also great for breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack or even in the middle of the night.
