Singapore: A Local Walk (PM)

(This is a continuation from the previous post)

The question I have been asked many times is why I chose to stay at the Fullerton instead of the Fullerton Bay Hotel. The straightforward answer, as in most things, is that I do not like getting lost. I always like to know my start and end point, and I knew exactly where the Fullerton was located in relation to other places I had previously visited in this area.

The Fullerton is housed in a historic National Monument (Number 71, to be precise). The Fullerton Bay is ‘attached’ to a restored Clifford Pier. It is easy to get from one to the other via a dedicated underground passageway. I am certain that service at both are similar (it is outstanding at the Fullerton).

I decided to walk around the bay in the evening, to catch the Spectra Light Show at Marina Bay Sands. Here are the photos from my very pleasant walk.

The Spectra light and water show lasts 15 minutes, and is easy to fit into your evening schedule

On the way back to the hotel I was too tired to visit the Merlion which was just around the corner. I had visited before, and will add some photos in a separate post. For now, this is Goodbye from Singapore, and Goodbye from me. See you back in London.
